Sept. 3

  • Melissa Gail Maddox was arrested on a charge of issuance of a bad check and, with the assistance of the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office, on a charge of theft by check in the 500 block of South Main Street.
  • A home was burglarized in the 500 block of Mary Street. There was no damage but a Sanyo television, a razor, a DVD player and trimmers, all valued at $520, were reportedly stolen.
  • Ervin Eaddy Harris Jr. was arrested with the assistance of the United States Marshall Service Waco on the charge of parole violation and possession of a weapon in the 200 block of South Second Street.
  • Anthony Frank Draper was arrested on the charge of assault by contact at the Copperas Cove Police Station.
  • A theft was reported in the 900 block of Whirlaway Drive. A camera and accessories, valued at $2,000, were reportedly stolen.
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia was reported at the intersection of Teinert Avenue and East U.S. Highway 190.

Sept. 2

  • Misael Hernandez was arrested on the charge of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and ,with the assistance of the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, on the charge of possession of marijuana in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190.
  • A theft was reported in the 200 block of Cove Terrace. An electronic notebook, valued at $96, was reportedly stolen.
  • A theft was reported in the 900 block of East U.S. Highway 190. A bag of chicken, valued at $55, was reportedly stolen.

Sept. 1

  • A theft was reported in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. Stolen and recovered were cabinet knobs.
  • Casey Allen Fitzgerald was arrested on the charge of criminal trespass in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190.
  • A theft was reported in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. A watch, valued at $35.92, was stolen and recovered.

Aug. 31

  • A home was burglarized with the intent to commit another felony in the 200 block of Judy Lane.
  • The forgery of a financial instrument was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street.
  • Bryan Earl-Tabias Johnson was arrested on the charge of theft in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. A phone case, valued at $34.96, was stolen and recovered.

Aug. 30

  • Edith Louise Tratt and Chris Donte Thomas were arrested on the charge of possession of a controlled substance in the 500 block of South Main Street.
  • William Clifford Thompson was arrested on the charge of theft at the Copperas Cove Police Station.
  • Fraudulent use or possession of identifying information was reported in the 2600 block of Big Divide Road.
  • A theft was reported in the 900 block of Curry Avenue. A Mongoose bicycle, valued at $100, was reportedly stolen.
  • A theft was reported in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. A FM transmitter, valued at $30, was reportedly stolen.
  • A building was burglarized in the 1200 block of Phil Avenue. A bicycle, valued at $90, was reportedly stolen.

Aug. 29

  • Heather Michelle Walker was arrested with the assistance of the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of bond forfeiture, failure to appear and possession of a controlled substance at the Copperas Cove Police Station.
  • David Alexander McCoy IV was arrested on the charge of possession of Marijuana in the 800 block of Robertson Avenue.
  • A theft was reported at the Copperas Cove Police Station. A newspaper stand, valued at $350, was reportedly stolen.
  • The burglary of a home was reported at the Copperas Cove Police Station. There was no damage but an X-Box, valued at $250, was reportedly stolen.
  • Kasey Aneal Michieal Cobb was arrested on the charge of being drunk in public in the 400 block of East Avenue B.

Aug. 28

  • Michael Ryan Schnell was arrested on the charge of possession of Marijuana in the 200 block of West Avenue C.
  • Henry Edward Daniels was arrested on the charge of being drunk in public at the intersection of Casa Drive and Georgetown Road.
  • Fraudulent use or possession of identifying information was reported in the 1100 block of Magnolia Avenue.
  • A theft was reported in the 1600 block of North Main Street. A bicycle, valued at $129.97, was reportedly stolen.
  • Brandy Michell Ewing (Brown) was arrested on the charge of theft in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. Stolen and recovered were make-up, jewelry and hair products, total value $17.
  • Joshua William Chandler Sr. was arrested on the charges of evading arrest or detention, failure to identify a fugitive from justice and with the assistance of the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office on the charge of possession of a controlled substance in the 2200 block of Cline Drive.
