The Copperas Cove Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man and woman police say used counterfeit money in February at the H-E-B gas station, 2990 E. Business U.S. Highway 190.

On Feb. 11, a white man used three counterfeit $100 bills at the fueling station, and a white female later returned to attempt to retrieve the bills, Copperas Cove police said in a news release.

The suspects were driving a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with out-of-state license plates.

Anyone with information should call the Copperas Cove Crime Stoppers tip number anonymously at 254-547-1111.

Tips leading to an arrest and prosecution could be eligible for up to a $1,000 cash reward.
