COPPERAS COVE — Police arrested a Jacksboro man Tuesday. He is suspected of raping a 10-year-old girl around Thanksgiving.

Justice of the Peace Bill Price arraigned David Lee Dean, 32, on Thursday on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Price set his bond at $100,000.

According to the arrest complaint, the girl told a forensic interviewer that she was staying at a residence in Copperas Cove visiting family during the Thanksgiving holiday.

The girl said during her stay, Dean had her lie down with him in the evening hours, the complaint stated. The girl said she fell asleep but was then awakened by Dean touching her “girl parts.”
