A Killeen 17-year-old who police said robbed two stores in Cove was indicted Wednesday by a Bell County grand jury in Belton.

Lazarus DaQuan Bush is charged with the aggravated robbery of Little Caesar’s Pizza in Cove on Oct. 24 and a 7-Eleven convenience store in Cove on Oct. 28

Bush was also charged with the aggravated robbery of a Dollar General store in Killeen, as well as two other robberies.

He was arrested Oct. 30 in Killeen with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service.

He was taken into custody without incident at 5:02 p.m. in the 2900 block of Cantabrian Drive, Killeen Police Department spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said.

Killeen police said Bush and another man entered a Dollar General in Killeen wearing bandanas. They burst through the office door where an employee was hiding. Bush pointed a gun at the employee and demanded she open the cash register, according to an affidavit for arrest.

Bush was at one point named as one of KPD’s most wanted fugitives.
