The Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove presented flags to eighth-graders at a recent meeting.

The “Give a Kid a Flag to Wave” program is designed to cultivate a deeper sense of patriotism and heighten young Americans’ appreciation of the U.S. flag.

The following students received flags: Colton Terry, Amanda Austin, Kalaya Smith, Amanda Russell, Imani Walker, Flora K. Barnard, Cecelia Aumua, Tyson Curry, Isaac Griffen, Alexis Grasso, Logan Stock, Brycc Austin, Sarah Stephans, Tiffany Fairchild, Kaleb Honts, Katherine Cooley, Sienna Shorey and Luis Romero.
