The Boys & Girls Club of Copperas Cove and the Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove have made arrangements for Holly Tucker, a finalist on “The Voice” season 4, to sing at Music at the Gap on Saturday in Copperas Cove.

Concerts such as Music at the Gap are especially important to Holly Tucker, her father, Johnny Tucker, said.

“She has a heart for young people, and anytime she gets the opportunity to share with this demographic, this is a go for her,” he said. “The Boys & Girls Club is a worthy organization.”

Holly Tucker relates to people who are struggling, understands what it is like for kids to walk in the shoes she walked in and wants to do all she can to encourage teenagers to live their dreams as she was able to pursue hers, he said.

“It was not easy at times for Holly in school, and she was a victim of bullying,” Johnny Tucker said.

The Music at the Gap Concert will begin at 5 p.m. at Ogletree Gap Pavilion Park.

Other entertainers include Frankly Country Band and Renegade Redeemed. Before the main show, GymKix dancers will perform.

All proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Club of Copperas Cove. The club will use a portion of the money to buy supplies for summer programs. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the gate. The price includes a barbecue dinner by Big Daddy and Son BBQ and Catering.
