The Morning Exchange Club recently announced Rachel Heintzel and Robby Seybold as recipients of its Youth of the Quarter Award. Heintzel was further recognized as Youth of the Year.

Heintzel and Seybold were recognized by the organization for their academic excellence and achievements in extracurricular activities.

Among their many accomplishments, Heintzel is the captain of the academic decathlon team, and Seybold is the quarterback of the Copperas Cove High school Bulldawg football team.

For earning the Youth of the Year honor, Heintzel will receive a scholarship from the Cove Morning Exchange Club.

The club also discussed events for the upcoming Rabbit Fest and inducted four new members — Mike Thompson, Doug Cook and Edward and Sandra Nixon.

Each received club pins and a certificate from the Exchange Club.
