Noon Exchange Club meets

The Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove met Monday. Past president Mike Blount encouraged members to participate in “Make a Difference Day” on Oct. 26.

Members are scheduled to work jointly with the Exchange Club of Copperas Cove at the Exchange Sunshine Home on Leonhard Street from 9 a.m. to noon.

Also on Oct. 26, the club will work with the Central Texas STARZZ basketball team on a food drive at Walmart from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Blount talked about the “Ride For A Child” event and urged members to get businesses and other groups to purchase ads for the event.
