City Manager Andrea Gardner spoke at a recent Noon Exchange Club meeting. She offered a brief synopsis of the State of the City address, gave information about the city’s website and spoke about road construction projects in the city. President Dennis Ayres thanked Gardner for her presentation.

Helen Alexander of Aware Central Texas updated the club about the Christmas on the Farm fundraiser, which is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton. Alexander urged people, businesses and organizations to get involved by volunteering and providing resources.

Items needed include stuffed animals, children’s books, individually wrapped bake sale items and fruit.
