John Moser of the Copperas Cove Fire Department received the Firefighter of the Quarter award at the Jan. 11 meeting of the Noon Exchange Club.

Moser was nominated by Deputy Chief Mike Ramminger for his work as lead paramedic.

President Mike Blount encouraged club members to provide silent auction items for the Ride for a Child motorcycle rally March 23. The rally supports programs that fight child abuse.
