Aug. 27

• A theft was reported in the 160 block of West U.S. Highway 190. Cash in the amount of $658.68 was reportedly stolen.

• A theft by check was reported in the 600 block of Teinert Avenue. A laptop, valued at $250, was reportedly stolen.

•A theft was reported in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. Cash in the amount of $270 was reportedly stolen.

• Kenneth Wayne Cook was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and being drunk in public in the 300 block of Sunset Lane.

Aug. 26

• Conan Brian Watt was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 1400 block of East U.S. Highway 190.

• Credit card abuse was reported in the 1100 block of South Farm-to-Market 116.

• A home was burglarized in the 3100 block of Yaupon Road. There was no damage but an Xbox and prescription medication, valued at $50, were reportedly stolen.

• A theft was reported in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. A grill, fishing equipment and car wax, valued at $174.27, were reportedly stolen.

• Dean Arthur Hynes was arrested on charges of parole violation and rape of the elderly at the Copperas Cove police station.

• David Michael Williams was arrested on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information in the 100 block of East Avenue A.

• Patrick Dylon Gordon, Brooke Nicole Baker and Michelle Erika Sedore were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 800 block of Hill Street.

Aug. 25

• A theft of a firearm was reported in the 1000 block of South 23rd Street. Two pistols, valued at $950, were reportedly stolen.

• Arthur Davila Andrade was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 1500 block of East U.S. Highway 190.

• Strik Suda was arrested on a charge of being drunk in public in the 1300 block of Katelyn Circle.

• William Melvin Edwards Jr. was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 300 block of North 11th Street.

Aug. 24

• Sheridon Hale Groves was arrested on a charge of being drunk in public in the 400 block of West U.S. Highway 190.

• A theft was reported at the Copperas Cove police station. Two bicycles, valued at $200, were reportedly stolen.

• A theft was reported in the 400 block of Myra Lou Avenue. Jewelry, valued at $3,000, was reportedly stolen.

• Amber Cherie Newton was arrested on a charge of theft in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. Stolen and recovered were miscellaneous clothing, candy and coolant, with a value of $77.22.

• Averweone Darneel Holman was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 600 block of Sunset Lane.

• Robert Elgin Bowling was arrested on a charge of theft in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. Stolen and recovered were DVDs, valued at $72.76.

Aug. 23

• A felony theft was reported at the Copperas Cove police station. Cash in the amount of $40,000 was reportedly stolen.

• Robert Earl Knight was arrested on charges of being drunk in public and theft of property in the 400 block of Sunset Lane.

• An injury to a child was reported at the Copperas Cove police station.

• A home was burglarized in the 600 block of Traci Drive. A laptop, valued at $800, was reportedly stolen.

Aug. 22

• English (Rick) Chuck Steele was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of promise to appear in the 500 block of North First Street.

• A home was burglarized in the 200 block of Erby Avenue. Miscellaneous video games, two game controllers and a .40-caliber pistol, valued at $649, were reportedly stolen.

• A felony theft was reported in the 1300 block of Georgetown Road. The thief reportedly stole cash in the amount of $22,476.44.

• A theft was reported in the 2700 block of East U.S. Highway 190. A television, a utility knife and an emblem, valued at $455, were reportedly stolen.

• Dwayne Darnell McGowan was arrested on a charge of unlawful restraint at the Copperas Cove police station.

Aug. 21

• Victor Jerome Cozart III was arrested on the charges of attempted burglary of a habitation and tampering with evidence, and Deja Nicole Wyche was arrested on charges of attempted burglary of a habitation and failure to identify in the 1300 block of Brown Drive.

• A theft was reported in the 400 block of South Second Street. Two BMX bicycles, valued at $161, were reportedly stolen.

• Shontrell Denay Freeman was arrested on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information in the 100 block of East Avenue A.

• Mathew Williams III was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 400 block of Sunset Lane.

• A theft was reported in the 1200 block of East U.S. Highway 190. A driver’s license and a Social Security card, valued at $16.50, were reportedly stolen.
