Copperas Cove resident Wayne Rourke is concerned for his twin great-nephews. They were born Sept. 27, 2017, but had to remain in the hospital because of breathing issues. Complications occurred and the boys remain in Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, with their mother, April Monroe.

“She is a single mother with two very sick twins, one of which will now need prosthetics and special care,” Rourke said in an email.

Anyone wishing to contribute toward the medical bills and care of the twins may contact Rourke at 254-245-5844.
