District 14 party

Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary members from Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Kempner and Temple along with Chief Voluntary Services of Temple and Waco are seen at a Christmas party at the VA medical center in Temple.

Veterans of Foreign Wars District 14 and its Auxiliaries held a Christmas party for patients at the Temple VA medical center.

VFW District 14 consists of 12 VFW posts and eight Auxiliaries from the following Temple (1820), Copperas Cove (8577), Harker Heights (3892), Kempner (3393), Killeen (9191), Marble Falls (10376), Gatesville (8230), Killeen (9192), Lampasas (8539), Burnet (6974) and Belton Lake (10377).

Juanita Workman, with Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service VFW Auxiliary Department of Texas, coordinated the function and provided paper goods, fruit and punch.

District 14 members provided sandwiches and cookies. Marble Falls and Kempner members provided scarves and blankets given out via drawings.

The VA Patient Band played during the party.
