Noon Exchange Club honors police, firefighter of the quarter at meeting

During a recent Noon Exchange Club meeting, members were reminded of the Oct. 26 food drive at Walmart.

Donated food will be taken to My Brother’s House Food Pantry and Cove Soup Kitchen.

President Dennis Ayres introduced Kellie Dalrymple as a new member.

Club member Lynn Gibson was announced as a local liaison for the Aware of Central Texas Christmas on the Farm 2013 event and asked for donations such as stuffed animals, children’s books, small gift items and wrapped baked sales.

Firefighter and paramedic Jeremy Lydon received the Firefighter of the Quarter Award for outstanding performance on the job.

Police Officer Angel Nunez received the Noon Exchange Club Officer of the Quarter Award for his work as an outstanding police offer and participation in many volunteer events.
