If you’re a quilter, you have quilts folded up and stacked somewhere. If you’re a new quilter, your stack may only be one or two quilts. If you’ve been quilting for years, your stack could be taller than you.

When I started to quilt, the proper way to store a quilt was to fold it up and place on a dark closet shelf. It would stay there until I brought it down to put on a bed or to just show it off to someone.
