Copperas Cove basketball coach Billy White Jr. will host the annual Bulldawg Basketball Camp from Monday through Thursday at the Bulldawg Gymnasium.

The football season is still months away, but fans can soon begin purchasing tickets.

Copperas Cove will start selling season tickets for its 2014 home schedule to the public beginning Monday.

Tickets will be available through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Copperas Cove High School athletic annex. A second window of opportunity to buy tickets will be open from July 7 to 10. Cost is $30.

Season tickets are good for all five of the Bulldawgs’ home game, including the season opener against A&M Consolidated on Aug. 29. The package also contains tickets for games against Lake Travis (Sept. 5), Killeen (Sept. 26), Ellison (Oct. 10) and the home finale against Harker Heights (Oct. 24).

Bulldawg Basketball Camp scheduled to start Monday

The 2014 Bulldawg Basketball Camp is set to run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bulldawg Gymnasium.

The camp is open to students entering the first through ninth grade.

There will be an award ceremony held on the final day, and cost is $65, which includes a T-shirt.

Pizza and sports drinks will be available to purchase each day, and pictures can be bought for $10.

Cove Baseball Camp coming up

Less than a month remains before the annual Copperas Cove Baseball Camp begins July 7.

The four-day camp is open to all incoming first- through ninth-graders and will be conducted at the Copperas Cove High School baseball field.

Campers will learn the basic fundamentals of the game with an emphasis on hitting, fielding, throwing and base running.

All participants need to bring athletic shoes — cleats are preferred — and any other personal baseball gear.

The camp will focus on fundamentals for the first three days with the final day consisting of various games and competitions.

Cost is $50 and includes a camp T-shirt, certificate and competition prizes with group and individual pictures available for $10. Concessions will be available.
