COS Marez soldiers reflect on fallen heroes during Memorial Day run

U.S. Army/Spc. Angel Turner - Soldiers assigned to 4th Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, run four miles as part of a Memorial Day race May 30 at Contingency Operating Site Marez, Iraq. Soldiers and Defense Department employees cheered each other on as the competitors completed the run, which honored troops who died in service to the United States. -

Section of Rancier Avenue in Killeen to close next week

Eastbound lanes of Rancier Avenue, between 10th Street and 18th Street in Killeen, will be closed weekdays, beginning Monday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for about two weeks.
