Airman Yu Cheng Liu graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Liu earned distinction as an honor graduate.

The airman is a 2004 graduate of Harker Heights High School.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Airman Liu is the son of Ruoh Yang of Harker Heights.

Airman Lucia L. Leija graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Leija is a 2011 graduate of Belton High School.

She is the daughter of Joe and Lydia Leija of Belton.

Airman Anthony L. Meza graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

The airman's training included military discipline and studies.

Meza is the son of Audra Fisher-Meza of Killeen.

He is a 2010 graduate of Killeen High School.

Airman Krystal E. Velazquez graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program.

She is a 2010 graduate of Shoemaker High School.

Velazquez is the daughter of Evelyn Milo of Killeen.

Seaman Apprentice Benjamin N. Berry recently completed eight weeks of U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Berry is a 2009 graduate of Harry S. Truman High School of Taylor, Mich.

He is the son of Carolyn B. Bell of Copperas Cove.

Army Pvt. Kalliegh R. Dennis has graduated from nine weeks of basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C.

Dennis is a 2010 graduate of Temple High School.

Airman Anthony M. Stephens graduated from eight weeks of basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Stephens earned distinction as an honor graduate.

The airman is a 2002 graduate of Forrest City High School, Ark.

He is the son of Cheryl Stephens of Temple.
