The Class Six is hosting a free wine-tasting event at Club Hood Tuesday, giving customers a chance to taste the selections available for purchase on post.

"It's to help customers to choose," said Rosa Marin, store manager. "You know when you go to buy wine, you really don't know if you're going to like it."

The tasting will give customers the opportunity to try about 20 different wines and speak with representatives from the wineries.

"You learn because the people over there can help you." said Marin. "Customers can get more information about the wines than they usually get when they shop alone."

A variety of cheeses will be available, as well as the chance for military ID card holders to win a $100 Army and Air Force Exchange Services gift card.

The wine tasting will be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m. in the Starlight room. The public is invited to attend.
