Over a thousand people gathered tips and information on pregnancy, birth and babies while soaking up the fall sunshine at the third annual “Baby Expo” on Saturday. Held in front of the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, the goal of the expo was to make information widely available to empower families during pregnancy and beyond.

“The purpose of the day is to have all of our families get education,” said 1st Lt. Rebeccah Sherman, a registered nurse for Labor and Delivery and the officer in charge of the event. She said connecting families with on-post resources was another key goal.
