Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and its primary care clinics will modify operating hours Monday in observance of Veterans Day. The hospital remains open every day for emergency services, inpatient care and labor and delivery services.

Primary and Urgent Care Services

All outlying health clinics will remain open Friday for normal dependent care.

Thomas Moore Health Clinic will conduct soldier care as follows: sick call from 7 to 8 a.m. Friday, and walk-in urgent care from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Soldiers assigned to Division West may still walk in to Bennett Health Clinic during normal sick call hours. All clinics and Community Based Medical Homes will be closed Saturday through Monday.

The Patient Appointment Service, 254-288-8888, is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and will resume services Tuesday.

Darnall and its clinics will resume normal opening hours Tuesday.

During the holiday period from Saturday to Monday, internal medicine patients and TRICARE Prime enrollees with urgent care needs should go to the Emergency Department.

Darnall’s Nurse Advice Line will remain open 24/7 at 254-553-3695. Individuals living in the Fort Hood area entitled to military health care may talk to registered nurses about urgent health issues, guidance on nonemergency situations and information about self-care for injuries or illnesses.

Pharmacies

All Darnall pharmacies will maintain normal operating hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

The Refill Pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday. The Main Outpatient Pharmacy, located in the hospital basement, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday for new medical treatment facility prescriptions only.

All other pharmacies will be closed.

All pharmacies return to normal operating hours Tuesday.
