For the 17th year, the Fort Hood Officers’ Spouses’ Club conducted a golf scramble fundraiser. About 140 golfers participated in the annual event at the Courses of Clear Creek on Friday.
Funds raised through the club’s three big fundraisers allow it to give back to the community surrounding Fort Hood through grants.
The club disburses funds in the spring and fall, and this week, members will decide what organizations will receive the $37,000 available this spring.
