The command team for the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team “Black Jack,” 1st Cavalry Division, officially cased the brigade colors Tuesday morning on Cooper Field in preparation for the unit’s nine month rotation to Europe for Operation Atlantic Resolve.

Casing the colors signifies a unit is leaving their current location. Once the unit arrives at its new location, the colors will be uncased to signify the unit is operational and ready to go. | 254-501-7554
