Army Warrant Officer Steven Sandoval graduated from the Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Rucker, Ala.

The course is designed to certify warrant officers as technically and tactically competent to serve as warrant officers in designated career specialties.

The primary focus of the school is military occupational specialty specific. The course also prepares newly appointed officers for their first duty assignments and all subsequent assignments as warrant officers and chief warrant officers in the active Army, National Guard or Reserve.

Sandoval is the son of Adiela Uran of Miami, Fla., and Maria Erazo of Killeen.

He is a 2004 graduate of Miami Killian Senior High School, Kendall, Fla.

The following airmen earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force after completing eight weeks of basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio:

Air Force Airman Jesus Ballesteros earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Rosalva Delgado and stepson of Andres Hernandez, both of Killeen.

The airman is a 2013 graduate of Killeen High School.

Air Force Airman Michael P. Abel is the son of Carola J. and Terry L. Abel of Harker Heights.

Air Force Airman Jasmine R. Deauvearo is the daughter of Darla and Clarence Deauvearo of Harker Heights, and granddaughter of Ruth Rorke of Monroe, Mich.

She is a 2013 graduate of Harker Heights High School.

Air Force Airman Felix B. Morales is the son of Minerva Morales of Killeen and a 2013 graduate of Shoemaker High School.

Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Courtney S. Quinones is the daughter of Carla Quinones of Killeen. She is a 2011 graduate of Harker Heights High School.

She earned an associate degree in 2013 from Central Texas College.

Air Force Airman Kalen T. Rodriguez is the daughter of Terri and Richard Conde of Temple and a 2013 graduate of Temple High School.
