Air Force Lt. Col. Ivonne Q. Muehlenweg has retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Muehlenweg was the chief of education and training assigned to the 59th Medical Wing at Lackland Air Force Base.

The lieutenant colonel served 28 years in the military.

She is the daughter of Jose Quinones Martell and Cecilia Nieves Quinones of Killeen; mother of Ashley Laura Muehlenweg of San Antonio; and niece of Francisco Quinones Gonzales of Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Muehlenweg graduated in 1978 from Killeen High School, and received a bachelor of science in 1984 from the University of Texas at Arlington.

She also earned a master of arts in 1999 from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

The following airmen graduated from the eight-week basic military training program at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio:

Air Force Airman 1st Class Dylan R. Rudd, son of Patricia and Garland Rudd of Killeen, earned distinction as an honor graduate. The airman is a 2011 graduate of Killeen High School.

Air Force Airman Jeremy L. Brice, son of Connie Brice of Killeen, is a 2011 graduate of Shoemaker High School.

Air Force Airman Ashton J. Clare, son of Reeser Clare of Killeen, is a 2012 graduate of Harker Heights High School.

Air Force Airman Isaiah T. Clark, son of Carrentha Clark of Killeen, is a 2012 graduate of Killeen High School.

Air Force Airman Dominique L. Coleman, son of Debbie and Alonzo Coleman of Killeen, is a 2010 graduate of Ellison High School.

Air Force Airman Jasmine Duenas, granddaughter of Francisco and Mary Duenas of Mertzon, and sister of Melissa Vasquez of Killeen, is a 2012 graduate of Irion County High School, Mertzon.

Air Force Reserve Airman Ashley N. Haile, daughter of Shane Sharman of Temple, is a 2011 graduate of Hobbs High School.

Air Force Airman Rosalishea B. Harris, daughter of Rosalisha Simmons of Fort Hood, and sister of Earvin Simmons of Murrieta, Calif., is a 2012 graduate of Murrieta Valley High School.

Air Force Airman Ashley V. Hogan, daughter of Cheryl Hogan of Killeen, and sister of Deetah Day of Pittsburgh, Pa., is a 2011 graduate of Harker Heights High School.

Air Force Airman Brian N. Jackson, son of George and Stacey Jackson of Killeen, is a 2012 graduate of Ellison High School.

Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Therron D. Jackson, son of Ramona Goodrum and grandson of Elma Kelly, both of Bossier City, La., is a 2008 graduate of Shoemaker High School.

Air Force Airman Amanda L. Jolly, a former ward of Terry Ferrell of Kempner, is a 2004 graduate of Harker Heights High School.

Air Force Airman Marcus A. King, son of Todd and Carmela King of Temple, is a 2012 graduate of Belton High School.

Air Force Reserve Airman Peyton K. LaBauve is the son of Kim Seghers of Slidell, La., and son of Bill LaBauve and stepson of Wendy Boyd LaBauve, both of Lampasas. He is a 2011 graduate of Harker Heights High School.

Air Force Airman Zane A. Malik, son of Aysha Sheikh of Killeen, is a 2008 graduate of Ellison High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Damien P. Missel, son of Rebbeca Rosten of Temple, is a 2012 graduate of Temple High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class John D. Moreno, son of Janice Medina of Killeen, is a 2011 graduate of Ellison High School.

Air Force Airman Terrence O. Young, son of Felicia Logan of Monroe, La., is a 2012 graduate of Ellison High School.
