A composite image of various angels and views of the wz. 38M Maroszek semi-automatic military rifle. The Department of Homeland Security seized it from Kristopher Gasior, a Fredericksburg, Va., collector of historical weapons, earlier this year, and now it is the subject of an intense legal feud between Gasior and Poland. The very rare gun was produced in Poland in 1939 and likely taken by Germans when they invaded Warsaw. It’s precise history, though, is what will determine who has the legal right to own it.
