Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area’s 17th annual Nature in Lights Christmas and holiday celebration is here.
The event, open to the public, features a 5½-mile drive through a winter wonderland of holiday scenes.
With more than 100 light displays, including a nativity scene and displays of Santa’s workshop, the sparkling exhibits are sure to delight family members of all ages.
Attendees can visit Santa’s Village along the way, where they can enjoy hot cocoa and homemade baked goods. Vendors and craft booths are provided by the Apache Arts and Crafts Center, and photos with Santa are available. Santa’s Depot, located at Marina Cove, is a train ride to view lights seen on the drive and visit a petting zoo with pony rides and concessions. Additional fees apply.
Pick up a free collectable Christmas ornament when you visit Mondays through Wednesdays.
The fee for a car, minivan or pickup truck is $5, with additional fees for larger vehicles.
