The Fort Hood Spouses’ Club will host its 34th annual Holiday Bazaar this weekend at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

More than 100 vendors will feature a wide variety of holiday-themed products, including Christmas decorations and arts and crafts.

Local food trucks will be on site. Attendees can also participate in a raffle, door prizes and Santa Claus will be available for photos from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The event is open to the public and tickets cost $6 at the door. Children 12 years old and younger are free.

The bazaar is the largest fundraising effort of the year for the Spouses’ Club, which typically raises about $30,000 through the event.

“All the funds raised will be given back to our Fort Hood and local surrounding communities by grants from the Fort Hood Spouses’ Club community outreach fund,” said Monica Bates, of the Fort Hood Spouses’ Club, who is helping to organize this year’s event.

“We hope (attendees) will walk away with great gifts for the upcoming holiday season. ... We couldn’t put this bazaar together without the help of the Holiday Bazaar Committee, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and shoppers.” Bates said.
