Students across town gathered to enjoy one last hurrah before hitting the books again during the Child, Youth and School Services’ fourth Back to School Bash on Friday at Montague Youth Center.

The main event was the Rip the Runway fashion show, which showcased the staff dressed in the fashion of their time versus the youth in the latest trends from today.

Each participant brought an outfit for the show, including Dean Alfonso, a senior at Killeen High School, who sported fall fashion. “I like to say I am a more fashionable guy,” Alfonso said. “I think about what to wear and if this matches this.”

The bash also included activities such as basketball, tug-o-war, laser tag games, decorating hats and bags, and a healthy cooking demonstration.
