Fridays in February

Casey Memorial Library’s Preschool Story Time, from 10 to 11 a.m., features stories and a craft on a weekly theme. Day cares and home-schoolers are welcome. The story times are held in Room 156 in the library annex, Building 3202 on 72nd Street and 761st Tank Battalion Avenue. Call (254) 287-2716.

It’s girls night out at the Clear Creek Main Exchange from 5 to 7 p.m. Join us for a night of pampering, cosmetic makeovers, wine tasting and demos.

Enjoy a Grey Goose Cherry Noir tasting from 5 to 8 p.m. at the III Corps Express store.

Friday

R&B singer-songwriter Avant will be at the Clear Creek Main Exchange from 5 to 7 p.m. for a performance and CD signing of his album, “Face the Music.”

Saturday

Curious about eReaders and tablet devices? Visit the Casey Memorial Library from 1 to 4 p.m. for this hands-on demonstration of 20 devices. Don’t forget to bring your favorite mobile device and learn how to access free health information on the go. Feb. 22

The Phantom Warrior Scramble is a four-person scramble at the Courses at Clear Creek, Building 52381 on Battalion Avenue at Clear Creek Road. Price is $30 per person with optional mulligan available for an additional $5 per person. Teams must consist of three players from the same division, directorate, battalion, brigade, company or branch. Additional player may be whomever the team desires. Registration and start times vary.
