Make and Take Craft Night: All ages are invited to learn how to make a simple book at the Casey Memorial Library anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. in the children’s room.

Operation Rising Star: The competition that determines the best voice at Fort Hood. Register now for your chance to win the Ultimate Recording Music Experience — record, mix and master an album with studio professionals. $850 in prizes to be awarded locally. The competition is at 7 p.m. at the Phantom Warrior Center and is open to active duty, Reserve, National Guard or military family members, 18 years and older with a valid DOD ID card. Garrison Bowling Tournament Fundraiser: Four-person teams will compete in 3-6-9 format for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The tournament is $20 per person and open to DOD ID-card holders. The Fort Hood Area Enlisted Spouses Club will be hosting their 2013-2014 Membership Drive from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Montague Family Life Building 70000 off Clarke Road.
