Hood Howdy: Fort Hood’s bi-annual event — a newcomers information and mini career fair — is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Club Hood, Building 5764 at 24th Street at Tank Destroyer Boulevard. Meet area chambers of commerce, more than 100 area businesses and agencies, and enjoy door prizes and refreshments. Check out the FMWR room for a chance to win an iPod Touch. Punt, Pass and Kick Competition: Fort Hood Family Housing and Youth Sports and Fitness host the free NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition, a program of Fuel up to Play 60, from 9 a.m. to noon at Hood Stadium.
