11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Abrams Physical Fitness Center.

1 to 2 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the Applied Fitness Center.

5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grey Wolf Physical Fitness Center.

6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at West Fort Hood Physical Fitness Center.

Free yoga classes

National Park Week

Active-duty military members and their dependents can pick up a free annual pass at any national park that charges an entry fee. The annual military pass also provides free entry to 2,000 additional federal recreation sites across the country. Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area is not a federal recreation site and will continue to charge. Fridays in April

Casey Memorial Library’s Preschool Story Time features stories and a craft on a weekly theme. Day cares and home-schooled students also are welcome. Story times are from 10 to 11 a.m. in Room 156 of the library annex, Building 3202, 72nd Street and 761st Tank Battalion Avenue.


The Drug Enforcement Agency will host a drug take-back at both Fort Hood exchanges. Bring in your unwanted and unused prescription drugs to the collection point from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


It’s History Saturday at the Casey Memorial Library. Come out and make a simple family tree and learn about genealogy from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the children’s room.


UFC 159 Watch Party

Graphic Concepts Apparel & Novelty will open in the portables in front of the Clear Creek Main Exchange. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Fiesta de Mayo

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the Backbone NCO Lounge with music, food and drink specials from 3 to 8 p.m. Free and open to all 18 years of age and over. The lounge is located inside Phantom Warrior Center, Building 194 on 37th Street. For more information, call (254) 532-5073.

Urijah Faber the “California Kid” is coming to the Warrior Way Specialty Store from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Urijah is a popular, top ranked UFC fighter. He will be introducing the new Torque line. Prizes, giveaways and photo opportunities with Urijah will be available. He will be signing photos and demonstrating moves.

Mother’s Day Brunch

Come to Club Hood and treat Mom to a special brunch just for her. Seatings are at 11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. and cost $19.95 per adult, $ 6.95 per child age 5-12 and free for children 4 years and under.
