Uncle Si Robertson from Duck Dynasty will be signing his new book “Si-Cology” at the Clear Creek Main Exchange from noon to 2 p.m. for a book signing.


Red, White and You Job Fair is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community Event Center, Building 50012 on Clear Creek Road.


Preschool Story Time: Enjoy stories, songs and a craft on a weekly theme from 10 to 11 a.m. in Room 156 of Casey Memorial Library annex. Day cares and home-schoolers are welcome.

UFC 167 Watch Party: This UFC Welterweight Championship bout between current champion Georges St-Pierre and No. 1 contender Johny Hendricks convenes on the UFC’s 20th anniversary.

 Enjoy drink specials and finger foods available for purchase. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and event is free and open to everyone 18 or older.

Oliver North: The retired Marine will be signing copies of his latest book, “American Heroes: On the Homefront” at 3 p.m. at the Clear Creek Main Exchange.

Day 1: On the ground in South Korea with Ironhorse soldiers

After 20 hours of travel, by plane and bus, I finally made it to Camp Casey, South Korea with the remainder of Fort Hood’s 1st Brigade Combat Team soldiers. For the next several days, I will be following the mission and daily lives of Ironhorse troopers as they begin a nine-month rotation in the land of the morning calm.
