Deployment's effect on children's mental health

Joanna Tyson, owner of Tyson's Corners Retreat and Wellness Center in Lampasas, puts a harness on Siena, an Appaloosa, on Sunday, June 23. Tyson's offers retreats with horses to help children deal with their military parents' deployment. A new study shows that children of parents who deploy are more likely than their peers to have depression, excessive worry and trouble sleeping.
