Greg Brooks, project manager with Sisk-Robb Inc. of Leander, presents a $12,500 check to William Hall and Suzanne Armour of Families in Crisis for homeless shelter improvements in the 400 block of East Sprott Avenue in downtown Killeen on Monday. The shelter is a $10.2 million project. The center is $20,000 away from its goal. The downtown center is projected to open by December.
