BLORA Water Fest

Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area will have its annual Water Fest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the lake.
The cost is $6 per vehicle per day.
The event is open to the public. A military identification card is not required when entering Fort Hood’s portion of BLORA from Sparta Road.

As temperatures rise and families spend more time outdoors, Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area is preparing to kick off the summer season with its annual two-day Water Fest.
Wilson Mathews III, public relations coordinator for Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, said the event is the lake’s official opening for the summer.
