Impact fees 1

The Killeen City Council is expected to vote Tuesday on whether it will move forward with implementing impact fees, which are one-time charges typically billed to developers to recover infrastructure costs associated with a new development.

Residents and developers have spoken to the Killeen City Council about whether it should charge developers an additional fee for their new projects.

All the residents who have publicly spoken on the topic have been in favor. So far, the only members of the public in opposition are developers.
