A home in the 200 block of Oak Trails Drive was reported burglarized at 3:45 p.m. July 18.

An assault with bodily injury with a deadly weapon was reported at 11 p.m. July 19 in the 1100 block of Indian Trail.

A convenience store reported a theft by shoplifting at 11:25 p.m. July 20 in the 300 block of East FM 2410.

A retail store reported a theft by shoplifting at 7:32 p.m. July 23 in the 2000 block of Heights Drive.

A home in the 300 block of South Amy Lane was reported burglarized at 11 a.m. July 25.

A grocery store reported a theft by shoplifting at 5:23 p.m. July 27 in the 600 block of Indian Trail.

Unaccompanied World War II-era vet to be buried Monday

The Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery will conduct an unaccompanied veteran burial at 2 p.m. Monday for Sgt. Ellis Ratliff, 89, a U.S. Army-Air Force veteran. The Central Texas community is invited to the ceremony.

Volunteer Killeen to host orientation Feb. 4

Volunteer Killeen will host a volunteer orientation Feb. 4. The training is free and will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Killeen Community Center, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd.
