A one-vehicle accident July 25 damaged a portion of the east outside wall and interior of the True Blu Polish Pottery and Gift Boutique in Harker Heights.

Harker Heights police received a call at 7:53 a.m. and responded to the scene of the accident, where they talked with the driver of a gray 2005 Dodge.

The 26 year-old driver told police he suffered a seizure, causing the vehicle to hit the building, according to police records. The driver was transported to a local hospital, where he was evaluated and released. The store was closed during the incident, and there were no other injuries.

Owner Grazyna Musick said the store reopened Monday.

“Like the old saying, we’re taking lemons and making lemonade,” she said.

A dollar amount of the damages was not available.
