The Centroplex Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society presents the Texas Country Gentlemen Barbershop Chorus in concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple.

“For Auld Lang Syne: Christmas with the TCG” features the 20-member Texas Country Gentlemen directed by Mike Reid, performances by Chordial Gentlemen and HMMM, the 2017 Southwestern District Senior Division Champions who qualified for the Mid-Winter International competition in January.

Special guests are Vocal Point, a group of 18 music students from Temple College and Texas A&M University-Central Texas under the direction of Dr. Sara Harris Baker.

Tickets for the performance are $15 for adults, and $10 for seniors age 65 and older.

Tickets can be purchased online at cacARTS.org, from a chorus member or at the Cultural Activities Center.

Proceeds support the music program at Temple College and the Central Texas Charity, Wreaths for Vets.

Santa Claus is expected to make an appearance and lead “The 12 Days of Christmas,” including help from audience soloists.

The pianist will be David Perez-Guerra.

Visit the chorus website, tcgharmony.org, for more information.
