Eric Wood, 26, grew up in Copperas Cove. He is the service manager at National Tire & Battery in Harker Heights.

What do you enjoy most about working in Harker Heights?

The people are friendly, and I enjoy meeting a variety of people when they come into the store.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

I like going down to Port Aransas and enjoying the beach or catching some Texas Rangers games.

What is the last movie you saw? Book you read? Favorite TV show?

Well, I don’t remember the last movie I saw, but my favorite TV show is “Burn Notice.” I wish I was just like Michael Westin. Watch “Burn Notice” … you’ll know why.

What was your favorite thing to do as a child?

I’ve always loved baseball, so being a kid and getting to play Little League was great.

What did you learn playing Little League baseball that helped you as an adult?

Playing any sport as a kid really teaches you teamwork and helps build character.

What is the best advice you were ever given?

From my father: Do what makes you happy, no matter what it is.
