Caregivers Empowering Caregivers

A free workshop, Caregivers Empowering Caregivers, is from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at Let Us Do The Cooking, 203 W. Jasper Drive, Killeen.

The workshop, hosted by Blue Star Families, is for military family members caring for a veteran or service member. Moderators will include Pamela Stokes Eggleston, director of External Affairs, a co-founder of Blue Star Families, caregiver to her husband, a retired Army wounded warrior and Purple Heart recipient; and Linda Kreter, who has provided peer-to-peer support for more than 5,000 veterans’ families and more than 1,000 active-duty families. Check-in from 9:30 to 10 a.m. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Child care will not be provided. To register, go to http://bluestarfam.org/programs.
