AARP driver safety program in Belton

The Belton Senior Activity Center will sponsor an AARP driver safety program from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the center, 842 S. Mitchell St., Belton.

The cost of the class is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. The class size is limited to 25. Attendees must bring their AARP membership card and driver’s license and report at 11:30 a.m. to complete paperwork.

Dance at Belton Senior Center Thursday

A country-western dance featuring Bill Harvey and his Miles & Miles of Texas band will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Belton Senior Activity Center, 842 S. Mitchell St.

The dance is open to all area seniors. A $4 donation per person is requested and guests are asked to bring a finger food or snack to share during intermission.

Golf association seeks members

The Stonetree Men’s Golf Association will have a membership drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Stonetree Golf Course clubhouse. Cost to join is $15 per year. Golfers who join in January will receive a complimentary 2013 Stonetree Men’s Golf Association hat. For more information, call Joe Pettibon (254) 681-5812.
