The season of the Harker Heights Farmer’s Market is coming to a close on Oct. 28. The city of Harker Heights is ending the season with a special fall festival at Seton Medical Center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition to the usual showcasing of farmer’s market vendors and their products, children will be able to trick or treat from the vendors along with playing in the bounce house. Firefighters from the Harker Heights Fire Department will be on hand for CPR training and learning about Halloween safety. Free blood pressure checks are being provided by Seton Medical Center.

Heather Buller, Heights Parks and Recreation activities coordinator, said “this has been another great season. We enjoy Seton’s hospitality and the opportunity to provide these local products to the community. We can’t wait until next year.”
