The summer heat has reached the triple digits now that the calendar has turned the page to August, with heat indexes getting as high as 110 degrees.

Ever mindful about the dangers these high temperatures can pose, the Harker Heights Public Library has set aside a time every Tuesday afternoon to address this issue and created a brand-new program for area children to enjoy.
