Casey Brazzil, 43, lives in Nolanville and works at the Harker Heights Recreation Center.

Tell me about your family.

I have a lovely wife named Jeanette, one handsome 8-year-old son named Calyn and one beautiful 12-year-old daughter named Peyton.

Where are you from originally?

I am originally from Temple.

What do you like about Harker Heights?

The community we have is a great one. We have great citizens here. The atmosphere makes this place a great place to be in.

What is your job title at the Recreation Center?

I am the city’s Parks and Public Grounds supervisor.

How long have you worked at the Recreation Center?

I have worked at the Recreation Center for nine years.

What community work do you do?

I volunteer at my son’s school, Cavazos Elementary in Nolanville to be a Watch Dog. I will help out people any way that I can. I just want to be a better person.

What is a Watch dog? Watch Dog is a program were we support kids by mentoring them. We check on them see how they are doing, etc.

What do you think Harker Heights needs?

Harker Heights needs its very own bowling alley.

What is your favorite restaurant in Harker Heights?

My favorite resturant in Harker Heights is Razoo’s.My favorite dish is Creole grilled pork chops and Crawford Fonda dip.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy doing 4 H projects with my kids.

What was the last book that you read?

The last book that I read was “The American Sniper.”

What was the last movie that you saw?

The last movie that I saw was “Trolls.”

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years, I see myself still working for the city and watching my kids grow up.

If you could change anything about your life, what would it be?

I would be more patient and understanding and have less stress.
