Tell me about your family.
We are a very strong family. We always stick together through the good and the bad. I am the youngest of three children. My brother, who is the oldest, lives in Colorado, my sister lives in Killeen. My parents both live here in Killeen. I have four amazing children: Jaidon, 5, is the only boy, Jocelyn, 3, Jordan, 3, and Jillian, 1.
What brought you to Central Texas?
My dad got stationed here and brought his family with him. My dad ended up retiring here and so I decided to stay here also.
What was the best advice that you were given?
The best advice that I was ever given was from my parents: “We are the only ones that control our mood for the day.” You can wake up and decide if you will be happy for the day, or you can wake up and decide that you will sad for the day. Whether you will be sad or happy for the day is the one thing in life that you have control over.
What do you like about Harker Heights?
I like how much it has developed over the years and is still developing.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself having an associate’s degree in business management. I plan on starting my own restaurant.
What do you do in your spare time?
I take care of my kids and I am a local artist, I rap. I am a family guy and the kids are my priority.
