Katelyn Robertson, 29, works at Peloton Ridge Country Club, lives in Harker Heights.

What is your job title at Peloton Ridge Country Club?

I am a personal trainer there.

What do you do at your job?

I teach group Fitness classes and offer personal training. It’s an amazing facility; it is so awesome and it is located in Harker Heights.

Where are you from originally?

I am originally from Marble Falls, a small town with a population of about 6,000.

Tell me about your family.

My father passed away from a car accident when I was just 12 years old. My mother has been a fifth-grade teacher for 30 years and my older sister is currently a kindergarten teacher in Abilene. I have one nephew who is a baseball all-star and he is 10 years old. I have a niece that is just like me and she is 7 years old.

What is the title of the book you wrote?

The title of my book is “To Be Continued ...”

What is your book about?

My book is a collection of short stories based on dreams that I had. My dreams are crazy. In February this year I was diagnosed with major depression and generalized anxiety disorder. In between each dream there is a story that tells what is going on at that time. I wrote this book as a way to end the entire stigma of mental illness. I am telling my story to help others who might be going through similar things.

What do you like about Harker Heights?

Everything is very convenient, and there is plenty of stuff to do and everything is close, I like all the shopping.

What do you dislike about Harker Heights?

I dislike Harker Heights traffic.

What is your favorite store in Harker Heights?

My favorite store in Harker Heights is Target.

What is your favorite restaurant in Harker Heights?

My favorite restaurant in Harker Heights is Five Guys.

What community work do you do?

I am currently looking for a church home, I will volunteer there. I donate clothes to Goodwill, and I share my story with others to help others in my situation.

What is the last movie that you saw?

The last movie that I saw was “Annabelle 2.” I went and saw it in the middle if the day so when I came out it was still light outside.

What is the last book that you read?

The last book that I read was, “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea” by Chelsea Handler.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to follow your own happiness and don’t make decisions based on making other people happy.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years, I see myself definitely writing more books and doing more training. I want to continue to help people as many ways as possible.
