SuperHero Spirit Nite today

Help the SuperHero kids take flight. Proceeds from the Superhero Spirit Nite — from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Harker Heights Chick-fil-A, 201 E. Central Texas Expressway — will benefit the Harker Heights SuperHero Adaptive Sports Program.

Senior Health and Safety Fair set

Celebrate Older Americans Month by attending the Senior Health and Safety Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Harker Heights Activities Center, 400 Indian Trail.

Body, spiritual and financial health organizations and businesses will give information about products and services that benefit the health and safety of older adults.

Various health screenings will be available.

A “hands only” CPR/first aid training class is at 11 a.m. A fire extinguisher training class is at 1 p.m.

Church to hold yard sale Saturday

The First Baptist Church in Nolanville is holding a yard sale starting at 7 a.m. Saturday at 200 E Avenue H.

Help plan Train Whistle Jamboree

A planning meeting for the third annual Train Whistle Jamboree and the Nolanville Police Department’s National Night Out will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the J.W. Simms Community Center.
